if an actor/actress has only appeared in a few films.....?

basically what im asking is if an actor/actress has only appeared in a
films like 4 or 5 or less or has only appeared in a tv series but
hasnt been in any more since then does that mean they quit acting?
and dnt answer if youve got nothing nice to say.
